1.
Ephesians 2:8-9:
A definition for grace is “God’s unmerited favor to us because of Christ.” If you substitute the definition for the word grace, how would these verses read? Try it.
2.
Titus 3:5:
The first part of this verse contradicts the teaching of many man made religions. What is the plan of becoming acceptable to God as expressed by false religious teaching?
3.
John 14:21:
The Christian life involves obedience to God’s Word. But what is the motivation for obedience, since we are assured of our being totally accepted by God up front?
4.
Romans 8:1-4:
Who lives in us, and produces the righteous life through us, as indicated in verse 4?
5.
Galatians 5:19, 22:
Verse 19 talks about works, while verse 22 describes fruit. Since fruit is a natural result of the life within a fruit tree (or a Christian), can you identify the source of the fruit of Christian graces that develop in the yielded believer’s life?
